NZEST has pleasure in announcing the six winners of the 2004 scholarships.

The NZEST selection panel advised that all 12 students who were interviewed on the shortlist were outstanding. Not only had they received very high grades in the NCEA Level 4 and CIE A Level external examinations, but they displayed a large range of extra curricular interests and achievements. The panel said they had really enjoyed the interviews and found it a most stimulating day. The six scholarships winners all exhibited great academic potential - NZEST will track their university careers and keep their profiles up to date

Khay ChanAttended Macleans College - Dux Exams: CIE A Levels In 2005 attending the University of Auckland Course: BCom/LLB Future plans: career in economics/commerce, would like to work internationally

Khay Chan was presented with his scholarship certificate by Mr Ken Rapson, NZEST Trustee and Principal of Mt Roskill Grammar School, on May 6 at the Macleans College school assembly.
